The Douglas Forest Protective Association (DFPA) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Roseburg District have announced that the 2025 fire season will officially begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 6th. All private, county, state, and Bureau of Indian Affairs(BIA) land within the Douglas District and Roseburg District BLM are included in the fire season declaration. On private, county, state, and BIA lands, certain fire restrictions are imposed to help prevent wildfires.
